Does blogging really connect people?

I was thinking about this when I got an email this morning which stated:

It’s only in our minds that we are separate from the rest of the world.

Wow.  Funny how the Universe answered my question so quickly! In the past couple of days, I have been attempting to hook up with other like-minded persons who enjoy historical or “Victorian/Edwardian” costuming.  I have even searched on Technorati and Google’s blog searches to see if I can find blogs.  Hard to do.  I will continue with other avenues however.

Must be that the people who normally have interest in costuming are busy at sewing machines and not hammering away on blogs as we might do if our interests were political, sports, real estate, or other such hobby.

So, let’s hope that in the near future, those of us interested in costuming shall find each other on the world-wide-web to enjoy our costuming passion and share our pearls of wisdom!

May you have a joyous day this glorious Autumn!

Lady Victoria and husband Sir Harry of Essex (London), reside these days in picturesque Seattle, Washington USA. They interact with a number of vintage or antique groups, including the historical costuming group Somewhere in Time, Unlimited. Come, enjoy an afternoon with Lady V and Sir Harry!
